Count your blessings

Reflect upon your present blessings, of which every man has many--not on your past misfortunes, of which all men have some.
Charles Dickens
As one of my dear friends reflected recently, some days you're the stick, some days you're the pinata...but even the pinata is full of blessings.
This is one of those days when every time I try to "fix" something, I create another problem. (See...this isn't even the picture I wanted to use, but I couldn't delete it. I decided to leave it and trust that someone will enjoy seeing it here. Sigh.) So I am reminding myself. I have so many, many blessings.
I'd love it if you would share some of yours.

What a great perspective! If we are living in the now (living in the moment), how can we possibly take anything for granted? Thanks.

Rather zen-like question?

I know I have blessings, but would it hurt some grand celestial plan if I won the Mega Lotto? *grin*

I hope not! I keep buying my tickets and I figure I am giving the universe the opportunity to fulfill the plan if it is supposed to be.

*grinnin' back atcha!*

Hi Wanda, you can probably delete that picture if you click on the "Edit HTML" tab.

Here's how.

1) Open the posting you want to edit as you always do.
2) Notice the two tabs just above the edit window: "Edit HTML" and "Compose."
3) Click on "Edit HTML".
4) Look for the html tag for the photo, probably at the top of the page. It will be bracketed with these symbols: < and >. The text probably looks like this: http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/8080/1242/1600/pidersman.jpg.
There may be an additional html tag that starts out like this: "img . . . ."
5) Delete all html tags related to the image, including the < and > symbols.

Oops, the HTML tag you are looking for (for the birds) is probably something like this, with the < and > brackets:

Sorry about that. : )

Thanks, Grace. I decided that since the photo was refusing to be deleted (using the composition screen), it needed to be there--so I left it.

Glad to see you here.
